it must be something in the air...

2a week ago, i received two wonderful awards from two wonderful women. being a bit under the weather lately and a bit depressed because the hubby forbids that i dont touch the laundry until i'm completely well, this piece of information is like ice water on a really hot day.

i came across sarah of barefoot in the prairie thru the drama mama (i think). she writes about being a working mom. she's also an ambasadress for barefoot books and planning her wedding, to boot. give her daughter allison a hug, because she's sooo cute! thanks, sarah, for this award! did you know this was also my first award?

alex of ma, what's for dinner gave me this award. have you heard of her? no? what, you been living under a rock or something? she's famous! she's actually a published author of a cookbook with the same title and is currently taping episodes for a cooking show inspired by the book. how cool is that? being recognized by her is like getting chosen by the hunky guy among the wallflowers in a high school dance.

the rules for this award are as follows:
  1. thank the blogger who gave it to you;
  2. list 7 things that people may not know about you;
  3. pass the love to 15 deserving bloggers that you have discovered recently;
  4. and let them know that you gave them an award.
 i think i have listed some things in a previous post. however, since my nose is all drippy and i'm constantly standing up to get tissues, i was only able to come up with 12 bloggers who will get BOTH awards!

    I love reading that others connected through my blog. That's another thing that makes blogging so very worth it. :)

    I need to let you know that you've got competition for Taylor. He is Jellybean's first love. She watches Shark Boy and Lava Girl so she can see him all.the.time. Hahaha.

    Thank you so much for thinking of me when passing these two beauties on. I would have been by sooner with the truck to pick them up but was alway all last week with no computer access.
