to my best friend

"my period is delayed. i may be pregnant," i quietly told the hubby as we had our dinner at a local diner. i had been experiencing really bad headaches and, out of concern, my pregnant colleague suggested i take a pregnancy test. i waited for his reply, as i nervously fidgeted with my fried chicken. we were both just starting on our new jobs and a baby at that time was not in the plan. 

then, i heard these words, "if you are, then my life is complete. i think i love you even more..."

it never ceases to amaze me how you fast have settled on being a dad . you were always there, good times and bad. you have accepted this new role with your whole heart, and you still accept it daily. never doubt your son's love, nor mine.
