poli-ticking

i dont like discussing politics with friends and family. it causes friction and creates a wedge between two people not mature enough to know that it's just politics.  it's election season here in the philippines, so this is a very hot topic.

so imagine my chagrin when j (the hubby) was frothing in the mouth as he recounted a recent exchange he had with a college buddy of his over politics.   turned out that they (j and the college buddy) are supporting different candidates and they are dissing each other on their Facebook wall.

J: he was the one who started it. why did he have to diss me on MY facebook wall? he is entitled to his own opinion. it's a free country; i'm entitled to my opinion,as well. &*($%#%#^&&%^&%^!!!!!

at this point, i think i popped a vein.
