i am a frustrated baker. i love pastries and cakes, but it saddens me that i dont know how to make them. the only time that i had any experience baking was when i "baked" chocolate chip cookies with a friend. well, technically, i mixed the dough and folded in the chocolate chips and she put it in the oven. of course, the motivation, or the lack of it, probably lies in the lack of an oven.
i do have a gay brother. and i'm proud of it, too. like most families, we also underwent the heartaches of his coming out, but things are better now. he is accepted for who is by our family and his efforts at being a better person is recognized.
no, i didnt vote for lee dewyze, but i would if i could, making this A LIE. being that i live in the philippines, i couldnt vote in american idol. heck, we dont even have at&t here. i was thisclose to asking bloggy friends to vote for him, in exchange for anything (dried mangoes, anyone?).
now, take a wild guess which ones are true and which one is a complete lie and i'll answer it next thursday...
- i am an excellent driver.
- i use facebook for games only.
- i have a thing for late night blogging.

I know number 3 is true.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna say number 1 is a lie :) just a hunch.
I was right last week! woohoo!
I was wrong last week, and thats ok. However I'm going to go with Laura and say #1 is the lie.
ReplyDeleteAlso, since I know we have time differences, I went ahead and linked you up on my linky. I hope you don't mind. Next week, I will put it up early so you can link up. Just let me know what time (I'm EST) you need it up by. :) Thanks for playing. You need to come guest post for me.
i'd go for number 1.
ReplyDeleteGuest posting is easy. I feature you on Friday with a one question interview, and I give you a 2 word prompt for your guest post on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say #3 based on your getting too tired to put this post up after your child woke up, but I trust miss Laura if she says she knows three is right than I'll believe her. I'm going to go with number #1 as well. We shall see!
ReplyDeleteHI Cheri, thanks for checking out my blog! My giveaways are usually open to Canada and the US (due to the sponsors' request), but I will make them open worldwide as often as I possibly can. I'm going to go out on a limb and say 2, only because I know know no one who uses Facebook for games only. It's too much fun!
ReplyDeleteAnd one of my dearest friends is gay. He came out right after we graduated from high school. He's leading the rally cry for legalization of gay marriages. I am so proud of him and his noble fight against discrimination. Ok, that's all the soapboxing I have for today.
Hey Cheri!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by earlier. Awww... you don't need to be jealous. Kids develop at their own pace. I can't say the same for Ben's speech development. My friends' kids are starting to talk at an age younger than Ben-that although is something I should be envious with, but when I think again, its better he doesn't talk so fast now (cos they said once the kids start talking, you can't shut them up hahahaha)
Btw, I'm going to say that you being an excellent driver is a lie and that you used FB for games only is true.
( I'm a full-time mummy )
Pssst.. I have an award for you.
