now, i'm giving you the finger

today, i have helped change my future. i have done my research and thought it through. i lined up and cast my vote in the first automated elections in the philippines.

whether or not my candidate wins, what matters is that i went out and stood by my belief in him. sure, the lines were long and there's that risk that the machine will hang while i'm inserting the ballot, but everything went well. this has to be the proudest i've been in my entire life, voting-wise (is there such a word?)
