i look back on my life and admit that i'm an impatient buffoon. i always have been. i know, i know. as a wife and mom of a 2-year-old, i should know better. but i don't, i really don't.
when i was younger, i never thought i would be a parent. i just didnt see myself in that role. when i see other moms getting impatient with their children in public, i rolled up my eyes and said to the next person, "ayan, nag-anak pa kasi" (well, you had children!). how foolish of me to make that comment, because years later, some single lady is rolling her eyes at me.

It's normal to be that way- it's human! Eventually life catches u with all of us and we find ouselves understanding sooo much more ;-)I'm following you now- stop by my place when you can.
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time envisioning myself in that role, as well. Seems like it's worth the headaches, though! :)
ReplyDeleteHa! Well, I think being a parent is one of those things you have to do before you really understand it.
ReplyDeleteWe are all so quick to have these thoughts Cheri, we are mere mortals...and sinful ones at that! However, it really does take being in 'their shoes' to realize the error of our ways. We are all out there just doing the best that we can!
ReplyDeleteI know I'll be getting those looks soon myself!
God bless you today dear!
I know what you mean. I used to look at moms and say, "I will never do that to my kids in public." Guess what, I do.
ReplyDeleteThanks for Following and commenting on my blog. I look forward to reading yours!
Hi! Stopping in from SITS!
ReplyDeleteI'm replying back to your comment on my changes post! Good luck with the blog designing. I put a cup of coffee on my button because that's something I really love! If you like cooking or gardening something like that find a great looking vector of a kitchen or gardening utensil and use that. Hope that helps! If you want a design program without paying for it use Gimp it's a free download and pretty close to Photoshop.
ReplyDeleteHA! I used to say that I would never let my children watch DVD's in the car for short trips - long trips were OK but not when we are tooling around town. Guess what?! HA!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed my visit to your blog, Cheri!
