me, a Gleek? never!

it's getting more difficult coming up with lies every week. i dont really like lying about myself; it's the most uncomfortable feeling. i tell it as it is, with very little or no sugar coating. it's always been that way. that's why most real-life people dont like me. i dont play games.

well, i do play games. on facebook, that is. initially, it was a fun way on catching up with people. but seriously, loser that i am, i have more friends listed on facebook than real life, talk-on-the-phone-regularly type of friends. it's more of a way of knowing who got fat, who got separated/divorced, who had a baby. so yes, i, more often than not, use facebook for games. as i type this, i'm clearing up my land in Frontierville.  are you playing games on facebook, too? send me an email and we can be friends there, too.

as a mom, i know the importance of me-time, even if it's just a couple of minutes.  other moms go for a trip to the nail salon (i'd love that, too!), i play on facebook and i blog. some moms find ways to sneak out of the house to do their thing, but that's not possible for me. i have to do my thing when my son's asleep and all chores are done. by then, it'll be late at night. how late? it's 130am in manila right now and i'm still up, doing my thing. i have also figured out that i seem to write better late at night, so this is the time i blog. maybe it's the peace and quiet, a novelty during the daytime.

i don't know to drive, and i dont want to learn how to. i am perfectly happy riding public transport. there's less bloodshed that way. why? two words: road rage. one of my pet peeves are people who dont follow rules, and a lot of them dont follow traffic rules. i emd up screaming (window rolled up) at the guy we almost ran over because he wasnt crossing the street where he was supposed to. i still think we should've run him over. that'll teach him a lesson.

figure which one on the list is a big bag of phooey and i'll tell you next week.
  1. i have a huge dislike for Glee.
  2. my son has a "smiling" tummy.
  3. i prefer chocolate soy milk to chocolate milk.

  1. Ohhh these are tough this week, but YAY for being right last week!

Hmmm.. I really like the idea of a smiling tummy, so I'm going to say that's true. I'm going to say you like chocolate soy milk over regular too, so that means that despite your story, you ARE a gleek, and #1 is your lie.

    Thanks for playing again!!

Oh, and by the way, I have more FB friends then I do real life friends too. We'll have to pal up.

  2. You're not a loser, I have more FB friends too, I don't have time to develop real life friendships right now. I can have facebook friends because I can chat and play at any time of the day (I'm also a night owl). I am not much a driver, I know how and I have a license but hubby drives probably 85% of the time. Send me an email, we can connect of Facebook.

  4. Hmmm. I'll guess number 1! I can relate to the facebook comment, although I don't play games on it. I do like to see what's happened to my high school friends, though!

  5. I definitely have more bloggy and fb friends than friends I see in real life. I think that's the way it is these days. I stay up late for my "me" time too. I'll say number 3. ;)

  6. I totally have more friends on Facebook then in real life. I guess that's getting to be a normal thing, especially for us moms who are stuck at home with the kiddos all day.
